In this article the following questions are answered:

1) How do I archive a video?

2) What does it mean when a video is archived?

3) How can I make an archived video active again?

4) Tip: Why is it useful to archive videos?

1) How do I archive a video?

In the menu Videos, you can archive an active video by clicking on the three dots next to the video > Archive.

The video status will change to "inactive" and you can find it in the list of inactive videos.

2) What does it mean when a video is archived?

"Archived" means that the video is inactive and therefore no longer available for sale and no longer visible to customers. In Eversports Manager, these videos are moved to the list of inactive videos.
The video cannot be purchased it again. however, customers who have already purchased it in the past can still view the video in their profile.

3) How can I reactivate an archived video?

In the list of your inactive videos, click on the three dots next to the video to reactivate it.
IMPORTANT: You can reactivate a video only if its validity has not expired yet.
Videos that are inactive because their validity period is in the past, cannot be reactivated.

4) Tip: Why is it useful to archive videos?

Often you don't want to offer a newly created video for sale immediately, i.e. you don't have a description of the video at hand, the link to the video is not yet available or you want to publish a video series at a certain time altogether.

In these cases, you can simply archive videos right after creation, edit them in inactive status and as soon as you are ready to publish it, you can easily set the status of the video to "active".
